When God sends an angel to help...

God hears when you pray...
It may seem like a coincidence...
but you will never know....
Indeed it was God answering your prayer...
It was the way God helps you...

This afternoon I went to the job fair at Purdue. The night before I was talking to Sandy and decided to go together.

The story goes when I was about to park my car at 2hr parking zone on Grant street. All cars must be parked parallel. Since the street was crowded, I parked my car in hurry and did not make it successfully and correctly. I tried to go forward but there were many cars passed by. So I was panic and called Albert. He was still at PMU walking back toward his house….that meant he would take sometimes before he could help me. I was still holding my cell phone, talking to myself with confused and panic look, when an angel passed by and smiled at me. I opened my window and said, “Oh no I could not park correctly, help me please!” So the angel helped me and my car was park nicely. I really thank God for the angel. Thanks to my helper angel can! I could not imagine if God did not send an angel……

By the way, I will be leaving to San Diego on February 6. Wish me all the best and pray for my job hunting. Thank you so much!

Ternyata di US juga ada beginian....

Aiz....

Bad news....my lovely car just lost one of the ears. Sad Sad Sad....I parked my car in front of my apartment building since last Wednesday. I went to Chicago on Thursday. I did not use my car until Saturday noon when I was about bringing Diani to music practice, my roomies and I were deeply schocked. My car's side mirror (the driver side) got damaged.

I called police to report a hit run. Thanks to roomie Link for accompany me. It was cold and we were waiting outside the building. The police came and told us that this was not a hit-run, but someone wittingly broke my side mirror. Oh no...never imagine this would happen in US. The police said that there were many cases like this at campus.

Hmmm....should I call this a blessing at the beginning of the new year? A year ago, someone stole diani and my bags in Vancouver. Learning from my past, I could only give thanks and be grateful, also forgiving the person who did that to my car.

Today, I went to two collision repair centers after dropping my roomies to school. Thanks Niel for the companion. The price for replacing the side mirror and repairing the buff door scratches is actually less than the deductible for my insurance. So, I will just pay out of my parents' pocket. Aiz...I have not gotten a job until now, so no income yet. The repair center needs to order the part for me and then the repair will take about a day. Praise God! It does not cost me a lot and the repair will only take a short time.

As a human being, we will never know what will happen to us, our families, or our properties. Thus, we need to ask God's protection upon us, our family, and properties.

Now, it's my job hunting time.....wish me the best guys!

Also, all the best for those who started school today.....

Back again into the real life...

Welcome back to me =) welcome back to the reality....holiday seems like a dream, a time when I do not need to think of what I should do for next. Now, I am back again....I need to plan...need to think... need to decide...badly need God's wisdom.

After visiting San Diego, I fell in love with the city. The city is beautiful. It has a view of my dream city. I put San Francisco, Seattle, and Vancouver as my dream cities before. Now, I add San Diego to my list. I still remember two years ago when I went to SF with my family, I liked the city that I have a thought to transfer to a university there. My parents approved, but considering that I will delay my graduation time due to different prerequisite classes and so on, I chose to stay in my lovely city, Indianapolis. I realize that I am a person who living in a mid-size city (here in US btw). An update from me, I am praying for San Diego. Right now, I am trying to find a job there. When I was there, I prayed if the city is for me, then I believe God will give it to me.

Last Saturday, I arrived late in LAX. I was five minutes late for checking in my baggage. So the lady in the self service counter asked me to rebook. I went to the ticketing counter and found that there will be no more flight with the same route as my original ticket. So the lady asked me if I want LA-Chicago-Indianapolis route or LA-Dallas-Indianapolis. Thinking that it is better for me to stuck in Chicago than in Dallas, I chose the Chicago route. However, all flights to Chicago were full; the lady was not sure when I can get the flight. She put me in the standby status. The first flight to Chicago was at 7:35am then I can continue flying to Indianapolis after an hour waiting in Chicago, which is good. But, the flight was full, so the guy at the gate moved me for another standby for the next flight. I was so sad and afraid that I will not be able to catch any flight back on that day. So, I prayed to God asking for a flight. Finally, I could get into the next flight. Sat next to me was a little naughty boy. He kept kicking my seat and playing with the table. He was so annoying. I told him once but did not make him stop. The guy sat next to me suggested telling the cabin crew.

Finally I arrived in Chicago ten minutes before my flight to Indianapolis departed. There was no way I could catch the flight, but I decided to run as fast as possible. I arrived at the gate right after the plane started moving aiz….so I missed my flight to Indy and my baggage was inside that plane. Again and again I was in standby status. The lady at the gate said that there were 50 seats, and all were booked. I had to wait until the boarding time. I waited for another two hours until I finally got a seat. Thanks for those who prayed for me. Prayer does work! At the end, I arrived in Indianapolis at 8pm. I was very tired, but I still have an hour trip back to Lafayette. My roommates and Albert picked me up (thank you guys). Thanks to Sunie who picked my baggage at Indy airport. My baggage arrived in Indy 2.5 hours before me. What a day. I was happy to be back at my sweet apartment at 00:30am. Overall trip was great. I had a safe and fun trip.

Von, should we plan another trip? On the next trip Diani should join with us.

Ger, thanks for making me a main actress of “HOME ALONE D.”
