Back again into the real life...

Welcome back to me =) welcome back to the reality....holiday seems like a dream, a time when I do not need to think of what I should do for next. Now, I am back again....I need to plan...need to think... need to decide...badly need God's wisdom.

After visiting San Diego, I fell in love with the city. The city is beautiful. It has a view of my dream city. I put San Francisco, Seattle, and Vancouver as my dream cities before. Now, I add San Diego to my list. I still remember two years ago when I went to SF with my family, I liked the city that I have a thought to transfer to a university there. My parents approved, but considering that I will delay my graduation time due to different prerequisite classes and so on, I chose to stay in my lovely city, Indianapolis. I realize that I am a person who living in a mid-size city (here in US btw). An update from me, I am praying for San Diego. Right now, I am trying to find a job there. When I was there, I prayed if the city is for me, then I believe God will give it to me.

Last Saturday, I arrived late in LAX. I was five minutes late for checking in my baggage. So the lady in the self service counter asked me to rebook. I went to the ticketing counter and found that there will be no more flight with the same route as my original ticket. So the lady asked me if I want LA-Chicago-Indianapolis route or LA-Dallas-Indianapolis. Thinking that it is better for me to stuck in Chicago than in Dallas, I chose the Chicago route. However, all flights to Chicago were full; the lady was not sure when I can get the flight. She put me in the standby status. The first flight to Chicago was at 7:35am then I can continue flying to Indianapolis after an hour waiting in Chicago, which is good. But, the flight was full, so the guy at the gate moved me for another standby for the next flight. I was so sad and afraid that I will not be able to catch any flight back on that day. So, I prayed to God asking for a flight. Finally, I could get into the next flight. Sat next to me was a little naughty boy. He kept kicking my seat and playing with the table. He was so annoying. I told him once but did not make him stop. The guy sat next to me suggested telling the cabin crew.

Finally I arrived in Chicago ten minutes before my flight to Indianapolis departed. There was no way I could catch the flight, but I decided to run as fast as possible. I arrived at the gate right after the plane started moving aiz….so I missed my flight to Indy and my baggage was inside that plane. Again and again I was in standby status. The lady at the gate said that there were 50 seats, and all were booked. I had to wait until the boarding time. I waited for another two hours until I finally got a seat. Thanks for those who prayed for me. Prayer does work! At the end, I arrived in Indianapolis at 8pm. I was very tired, but I still have an hour trip back to Lafayette. My roommates and Albert picked me up (thank you guys). Thanks to Sunie who picked my baggage at Indy airport. My baggage arrived in Indy 2.5 hours before me. What a day. I was happy to be back at my sweet apartment at 00:30am. Overall trip was great. I had a safe and fun trip.

Von, should we plan another trip? On the next trip Diani should join with us.

Ger, thanks for making me a main actress of “HOME ALONE D.”
