Back again in Indiana...

I see not a step before me as I tread on another year;

But I’ve left the Past in God’s keeping-

The Future His mercy shall clear;

And what looks dark in the distance may brighten as I draw near.

- Mary Gardiner Brainard (1860)

From my daily devotional (Diani’s bible)

“When trouble comes, when things don’t go our way, it’s easy to follow the same path of discouragement that David journeyed. Just as God anointed David and had a throne awaiting him, he has called us as his children and anointed us as heirs to his kingdom. Our present may be discouraging and look hopeless, but our future is assured!”

Thanks God that when I was discouraged, He did not let me walk alone. He always lifts me up again ^o^

Here I am back in my home sweet home, my temporary but loving apartment in West Lafayette. I will be here for 12 days and go back to San Diego again to continue my job hunting. I will be shipping my lovely car this coming Monday. Please pray that the shipping process will go smoothly and my car will be fine and reach San Diego with no problem.

Lately, God has taught me about FAITH and FAITH again. In my life, especially last year and this year, there were lots of things that require me to have faith. The beginning of last year God spoke to me and somehow I have already felt that I would need to take many big decisions throughout the year. I need God’s wisdom and grace for every decision.

Last month I took a step of faith by deciding to move in San Diego. For about two weeks I have been there, I would say that life in San Diego is completely different with Indiana. People said Indiana looks like heaven on earth. People are so good to you and you know what….Indiana becomes our comfort zone. The world out there is the reality of life, where you have to strive to live and fight to win.

I am still waiting for two interview results. All interviews went well, but I need to wait for the company decision. I can only claim that God will provide the best job for me. If God wants me to be in US, I believe He will provide everything.

There were times I wanted to go back to Indiana when I was in San Diego. But, life must go on. I must face the challenges in order to win the battle. Thanks for all bros and sis that have been great supporters and encouragers. You guys and gals mean a lot to my life. I thank God for them.

A very good and encouraging song from Hillsong - Might to Save album. If you have not heard this beautiful song, go to youtube:

At The Cross (Hillsong –Mighty to Save)

Verse 1:
Oh Lord You’ve searched me,
You know my way;
Even when I fail You,
I know You love me.
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season,
I know You love me;
I know You love me.

Chorus:
At the cross I bow my knee,
Where Your blood was shed for me,
There’s no greater love than this.
You have overcome the grave,
Your glory fills the highest place,
What can separate me now?

Verse 2:
You go before me,
You shield my way,
Your hand upholds me;
I know You love me.
And when the earth fades,
Falls from my eyes,
And You stand before me,
I know You love me;
I know You love me.

Bridge:
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done.

One thing I pray that God will grant me the strength and wisdom so that I can obey and do whatever He commands me. I have seen God’s mighty works in my life for four years in Indiana; I believe the greater works are yet to come in my new place. We should have a great faith because we have a great God who has overcome the grave. When He died at the cross, He took our pains, sorrows, and fears so that we can live a victorious life. Wherever you are in your stage of life, whatever situation you are in now, God promises to be with us at all times.
