WeLcOMe My NeW SeMEsTeR!!

Welcome to the new semester........

It may be a harder one.......but I want to believe and surrender everything in the hand of my Mighty God. He has been so good to me last semester. He has been faithfull before, and I know He will still be faithfull through my last two semesters, Spring 2006 and Second Summer 2006.

Lord, wanna give you thanks for all Your mighty works on my grade for last semester. I'm always amazed at Your works. Though at the begining it seemed so dark, many tears, many fears, but... you show to me that You will always be there to offer Your hand. I just need to do my best and let You do the rest. You will always make the ending beautifully............. Lord, You are wonderful, amazing, and powerful.

Lord, I pray that Your love, joy and peace will always dwell in me. Give me the strength and the ability to welcome my new semester with new exciment. New semester, new chances to witness Your powerful and might works on my study and my life.

In this new year, I want to devote my life to my dear Father. Let all His wills be done in me. Wanna see more of You and less of me. Let everything that I do, I say, glorify Your name, Lord! Let me be a living testimony for You.

I will tell the world about Your story...... I know You can use anything, but use me, Lord.

God's message:

I was praying with the intercessory team last Friday evening and God reminded me about someone.

Genesis 6

5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.

6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.

7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them."

8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

9 This is the account of Noah.
Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.

Genesis 8

20 Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.

21 The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

In the midst of our current wicked world, God is looking for people who is righteous and blameless. People who walk faithfully with God. Can He find "Noah-Noah" among us? Can we stand up and live in righteous in the midst of our wicked environment?

Then on Genesis 8, Noah can sacrifice the Lord burnt offerings that pleasing God's heart. After God died on the cross, mankind does not need to sacrifice the best animal for God. So, what can we sacrifice that can please God's heart?

Romans 12:

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Nowadays, we are not required to bring a clean and best animal as our offering to God. But, God asks for our life. Can we keep offer our body as living sacrifices? Can we live holy, in Godly way that can please His heart?

How??

We need to set ourselves apart from this world. We cannot live in the worldly way. We need to be transformed. Our mind need to be renewed.

Psalm 119:9

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your (God) word.

If we want to keep our life pure, holy and pleasing to God, we need to live in accordance with the Word of God. Let's together live in the righteousness way, let's please our Father's heart. So when God is looking at the earth, He can find "Noah-Noah" among us. Will you and I stand up as Noah for this era? When we live in righteousness, we can test and approve God's will, His good, pleasing and perfect will.

Another messages that God put in my heart for the beginning of the year:
- A point of no return and a point of no regret!
Leave the past and run the current race. God never promise that our life will be easy, but He promise us His strength in overcoming things. Be faithfull cause God has been so faithfull.

- Give thanks in all circumtances and choose to be joyful!
Don't let the devil steal the joy of the Lord that is in you. Remember: The JOY of the LORD is our STRENGTH.

- From Pastur's preaching yesterday:
1 Peter 4:7

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.
" Sebab dalam tinggal tenang itulah letak kekuatanku." (lupa di Yesaya berapa ya??)
We need to stay calm and control our self so that we can pray. We lost our strength when we are panic.

Lord, I don't know what year 2006 will look like, but one thing for sure, as I walk with You, You promise Your strength in facing things in life.

I want to set my focus right on You. Running the race.... Catching and doing every single thing that God has in mind for me.

- Welcome to my new semester! Welcome to the new adventure with God! Looking forward to see God's mighty works in my life! -
