First Day In My Lopely Town

I'm back to town......"Debbie Claus is coming to town" la la la....feel happy and weird.....happy because finally i'm home and can have enough sleep, weird because it's so quite in my apartement. Going for a 7 days tour with 21 people I know and another 30 people outsider are so fun, specially when the time for taking pictures together comes. Fun and Tired are both decorating the tour. For around 6 days, we had to get up early in the morning. We usually started the tour around 7am, even earlier then my school time. But, it was fun. Meeting other people from different background was fun. The main problem was our Indo not-on time habit....hehehhe feel bad with other people. Our group was the biggest, 21 people, but some of us sometimes came a bit late, but thanks God no dispute arose. We met a cute handsome boy, named Justin. He is so shy, but when he gets comfortable then he is not that shy anymore...well...you know how kids are. I feel sad about the tsunami disaster. When I celebrated the New Year, I know there was a pain inside my heart. Thinking how Aceh residents' condition with no adequate shelter, food, etc. I pray that God's joy, peace, n love will flow abundantly in their heart. Let's join our heart un prayer for them. I believe that things happened because God has a plan, that is why we need to always hold to God. Facing the world that always changes without notice, we badly need to hold on somethings that is unchange, thus it's only God who is unchanging. I'm glad to have Jesus in my life, someone who I can depend on. How about you, friends? If you never invite Jesus in your life, do so. I miss my family so much. I remember that last new year, I was with them praying together after celebrating the new year. It was memorable. Thanks God I have Yuli, Tin", Diani, Andrew, and Sigit to be with me at Boston harbour to celebrate the new year, watch the fireworks. Thank you, Lord for being able to celebrate the new year, for family, for friends, for the trips, for the safety, for my life, for all You've done in me. I can't imagine to live a life without God. Every blessing that I can enjoy now, it's all from God, and let it back for God's glory. Let's go back to the tour for a while. First day was tiring. We got delay for the flight because there was no crew available. That week was a chaos week for the airport. Lots of flight got delay or cancel. After waiting for almost 2 hours, we finally departed from Indianapolis to New York, La Guardia. Then the tour guide brought us to our hotel, Hilton at New Jersey. We changed hotel every day. On Sunday morning at 7am, we went to New York. We visited Chinatown, UN building, Rockefeller center, Wall street, ride a ship in circle line ( if I'm not mistaken), at nite we continued our trip with bus to Philadelphia. Hyatt hotel neighbour was so beautiful. Diani, my fun temporary roomate and I can watch the harbour and ships at nite. I thank God for the opportunity to be able to know some people deeper. Having diani as my partner was fun. We always complete each other. I love to sleep at the bed that is located closer to the restroom, while Diani love the bed near the window. She likes to sit next to the window, opposite with me. The weather in the morning at Philadelhia was so cold. I felt like losing my ears. The wind was blowing so hard. We visited Indepence Hall, Carpenter's Hall, and Liberty Bell. Then continued the trip to Washington DC to visit Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Capitol Hill, and White House. We slept at Sheraton...huaaaa the comforter is so soft and nice. The room was just beautiful. From 7 rooms that we booked for 21 people, we had one single bed room. I believe it was planned by God that I handed out the right room for every group. Diani and I got that room and it just right, otherwise other people in our group may have to switch with us. The group is divided to 4 or 3 or 2 people in a room. The next day, we had 8 hours trip from DC to Niagara Falls Buffalo. We stopped every 2 or 2.5 hours. The first stop was "Hershey's" chocolate world. Then Corning Glass Center, until finally Niagara Falls. The nite view was great there, but the wind was hard too, made it hard to capture a good picture. Thanks to Sigit and Steven for the companion. From Buffallo, we had another 8 hours drive to Boston. We had a lobster for dinner on the first nite at Boston. The lobster was good, but it hurted one of my finger. We visited Harvard University, MIT, Charles River, Quincy Market, Boston Common, Chinatown, Couple Square, Boston harbour and watched IMAX 3-D show. My body wasn't fit while we (Diani, Yuli, Tin", and I) watched the Polar Express 3-D. I felt dizzy and had stomach problem for the first half of the movie. I felt so torture....bad...but thanks God I still can watched 1/4 end of the show. We went to many places on the last day, fun and tiring experience. Sorry to some people if I complaint about my feet, but it was true. I feel tired on my feet. Thanks God for the on-time flight from Boston to Indianapolis. Feel sorry to Dodoy and Daniel for the re-route flight, but finally they back to Lafayette with Ray. We had lunch together at King Wok. We had 22 people joining for the lunch. It was great! Feel like family. Now...it's time to SATE (Daily Devotional) and Sleep........coz I still feel tired. Praise the Lord for the nice and warmer weather last few days. The road is clean now in Indy. What a nice view! Nite everyone...hope you enjoy my trips story. God bless and Have a Memorable New Year 2005! Welcome the brand new year. Let's ask God for new vision for the new year. Lord, may You work more and more in my life in this new year. I'm ready and available to be used mightily by You. Let's corporate, Father!
